Why doesn’t my oven heat up?
First of all, is the fan is running and does the thermostat light come on? If no, then the chances are that the fan element or oven elements are broken. This will be fairly straightforward for our engineers to test and fix. Other reasons for your oven not working could be due to a faulty changeover switch, safety thermostat or a thermal fuse.
Why does my oven overheat?
This is probably due to a problem with the thermostat. We have several different types in stock for a range of brands. So if you let us know that you think you have a broken thermostat and which electric oven you have, we can probably get you oven back in working order in no time at all.
Why isn’t my oven door shutting?
Having a faulty oven door is a real problem because it will let the heat out and cause uneven cooking. Faulty hinges or the hinge runners are the main culprits here. Luckily, this isn’t the most expensive thing that can go wrong with an electric oven and will be fairly straightforward for our engineers to fix.
Why does my oven cut out?
Electric ovens cut out due to an over heating problem, therefore there could be an issue with the main oven thermostat or safety thermostat. If this is the case then our engineers will be able to sort this problem out for you.
